Day Activity Center
The Day Activity Center is a pre-vocational program, offering individualized services based on the needs and desires of each participant. This is accomplished with a hands-on approach to learning new job skills, creating innovative learning tools, and developing work schedules that meet each person’s vocational ability and interests.
The Day Activity Center has developed several small business components within the program that creates opportunities for participants to develop and design marketable products for retail, along with offering competitive services to the community.
- Bee Green Recycling: Specializing in office paper, plastics, and aluminum on and off campus collections.
- Break-Time Vending: offers sidewalk food sales in front of Walmart in Easton twice a month in the spring and summer seasons.
- Canine Comforts: specializes in handmade goods for dogs.
- Corner Creations: specializes in handmade products such as note cards, flower pots, garden flags, etc.
- Snack Cart: on-campus vending services offered 2 times a week with healthy snack choices available.
- Yard Bees: specializes in landscaping and general lawn clean-up.
- Bee Clean Laundry: specializes in working with local businesses to perform basic laundry services.
