Benedictine Adult Services
Industrial Training Center

Adults work on a variety of industrial contracts that tie them to community businesses, to include packaging, labeling, and assembling products.  For example, on the Alcan contract, adults prepare sterile bottles for use in scientific labs across the country while developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, counting skills, as well as learning about quality control issues, packaging and mailing.

Changing economic times have provided the opportunity for the ITC to develop two new production activities.  The Cookie Club involves baking and decorating special occasion large cookies for delivery on campus, and rustic crosses are made from trees that have fallen on the grounds of Benedictine.

For more information on these and other contract opportunities please visit our On-Line Store.
