Professional Leaders Join Benedictine's Boards

We are pleased to announce that four outstanding friends of Benedictine have answered the call to serve on Benedictine’s Volunteer Boards. Barry R. Fierst, an attorney with a focus on special education law; Dr. Maria MacDonald, a New York pediatric dentist; and Donald C. Trice, a systems engineer, have all joined our Board of Directors. Margaret M. Madden, an attorney in employment law, has joined the Board of Trustees of the Benedictine Foundation. “Our kids and adults here deserve only the best,” said Sister Jeannette, “and we are proud and thankful that these individuals, who have risen to the top of their respective fields, are committed to helping Benedictine succeed.”

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The roles and responsibilities of Benedictine’s BOARD OF DIRECTORS are to:
Determine the organization’s mission and purpose, and support the Director
Ensure effective organizational planning
Ensure adequate resources and manage those resources effectively
Determine and monitor the organization’s programs and services
Ensure legal and ethical integrity and maintain accountability
Recruit new board members and assess the board’s own performance

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

All of the Benedictine Foundation’s fundraising, development, marketing and other activities are overseen by the volunteer BOARD OF TRUSTEES, made up of family and community members with valuable expertise in educational, political, corporate, and other arenas. The mission of the Foundation is to secure the resources needed to assure the success and future of Benedictine Programs and Services.
