The "Campaign for Benedictine - It's All About the Kids" After-dinner ceremonies featured a very special announcement by Benedictine Foundation Director Barry Smale. The “Campaign for Benedictine – It’s All About the Kids” was brought to a close this spring, reaching the goal of $10,000,000 to assure the future of Benedictine. This success is the result of over two years of planning and concentrated effort by the entire Benedictine family, led by Sister Jeannette and a special blue-ribbon committee of business and community leaders. Plaques recognizing this accomplishment were awarded to Campaign Co-Chairs Ben Denihan of New York City and Larry Hoffman of Washington, DC, and St. Michaels, MD, and to all the Campaign committee chairs in attendance. A new video was shown in which the special individuals whose lives are changed by Benedictine expressed their thanks in their own diverse ways. It was, in fact, “All About the Kids.”
