Elements of Success

SPRING BENEFIT 2008 – Another Success

On Saturday, May 3, 2008, Benedictine Programs and Services held its annual Spring Benefit; and over $416,000 was raised to support tuition assistance. Some highlights:

  • The brand-new Annapolis Westin was a beautiful setting for the gala event, which included cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dancing to a great live band, an exceptional menu for dinner and dessert, and generous time for all guests to visit with one another, renewing old bonds and forging new friendships.
  • Former Pennsylvania Governor Dick Thornburgh and his wife Ginny, longtime advocates for those with disabilities, delivered a memorable and inspiring keynote address.
  • Sister Jeannette presented the first-ever Benedictine Cornerstone Award to Joe Keelty, Baltimore builder and loyal friend of Benedictine.
