Residential Program
The residential program includes instruction and practice in all phases of self-help care, personal hygiene, housekeeping, and leisure skills. Respect for the rights and privileges of others are emphasized. In the residential area, the children are taught responsible care of their personal needs (such as toileting, eating, dressing, etc.) as well as social needs (such as following of rules, social considerations required in group living as a prerequisite for community living).
Students are also given residential responsibilities that are outside their own personal welfare and oriented toward maintaining their living quarters in a responsible and attractive manner and contributing to the well being of the entire group.
