The goal of the vocational evaluation is to present a comprehensive picture of each student's aptitudes, interests, abilities, and needs in a manner which provides a valid predictor of potential and realistic vocational opportunities for each child.
Formal vocational evaluations are comprised of a variety of assessment devises. Because each student has unique skills, abilities and needs, an individualized evaluation tool is necessary in order to achieve an accurate and appropriate vocational assessment.
We choose, from an array of assessment devices, those tools that are appropriate for each student. Students ages 14 and older are evaluated at least one time while in our program. Re-evaluations can be done as needed or requested.

We continually look for additional assessment devices that are appropriate for use with our students, in order to give us the most appropriate, valid assessment tools.
The completed evaluation contains information that is derived directly from the student and, through performance, observation and input from people involved in the individual’s daily life.
