Since 1982 the Benedictine Adult Services program has been supporting community living and independent living skills for persons with developmental disabilities. Our beautifully decorated group homes provide a comfortable home environment in attractive and safe neighborhoods. During the day, Adult Services participants explore vocational interests, engage in job development, and build skills in industries of choice, leading to competitive employment in the community or volunteer opportunities. Licensed by the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), Benedictine is proud to carry on a tradition of excellence based on the belief in the dignity of all people. Benedictine’s partnership with the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) provides opportunities for transitioning youth and adults with a range of disabilities to benefit from career exploratory assessments as well as community-based, industry-specific training and job development services.
